Part of an info-graphic i’m making for a university project! Fun to make…apologies for reinforcing the negative student stereotype, i know this doesn’t apply to everyone (but let’s face it, it does for most of us).

I got to do a printing refresher for free yesterdai! It was great to see how things get done outside of the school agenda. So many god dam handy tips that they never fill us in with at TAFE.

Like their are ways of stopping your screen from drying if you are doing a number of them. Man that could of helped when i did a big job a few weeks ago.

Here is what i learnt.

By spraying water in the air above your screen it allows the screen to stay moist and avoid paint drying on the clean edges of your exposed areas. Just a few mists in the air and you are good as gold!

Helpful tip number two! Flood the screen with ink after you print an area. if you lift it off the art work rest it on the chocks and flood the screen in paint it wont dry. and you can do hundreds of repeat prints without washing. Gooooooooooooood tip.
